Solihull Mayor school Visit.
To mark the start of the year 5 Bikebility, pupils were delighted to welcome Solihull Mayor Cllr Marwa and our Ward Cllr Terry Baker, who visited the school to congratulate the children on their hard work and commitment.
Year 5 pupils at Balsall Common Primary School Academy have started their Bikeability training as schools across the nation celebrate Cycle to School Week. Pupils are learning essential cycling skills, including bike safety checks, signalling, braking and safe road positioning. Later in the week, those who achieve Level 1 will progress to riding on local roads with their instructors.
